I love to travel, I think if you are a regular reader of my blog and follow me on Instagram you will know there is nothing I love more than hopping on a plane and exploring the world. The last few years has taught me that there is nothing more fulfilling than travelling, it changes you as a person and without sounding like a walking cliche it makes you view life differently.
Now we have established that there is nothing I love more (aside from brunch durh) than hopping on a plane. A few questions I often get asked what my travel beauty regime is and how I stay healthy whilst travelling. Because I may love being in the sun and sea but this definitely has a knock on effect on my skin and especially hair.
The one downside to hot climates, salty sea and airplanes is how drying this can be to your hair. My hair is very long and thick, and takes a bit of looking after to stop it turning into a birds nest….trust me the frizz can be so real. Tousled sunkissed waves yes please, dried out frizzy hair is not such a great look.
So what do I use to combat this? Well luckily for me (and you) L’Oreal has just released a new natural hair range called Botanicals Fresh Care. The hair care range is per hair type and as my hair gets dry with travelling I choose the range for dry hair which includes the safflower shampoo and conditioner for dry hair, a leave in mask and shine vinegar.
I have taken the botanicals range with me on my trip around Bali where we are surfing and exploring the island to keep my hair nourished. I LOVE the smell and look of the range, my favourite product being the intense masque which makes my hair so silky and soft…trust me a rarity at the moment. Makes for the sassiest hair flick :)
Just the other week I said how I am trying to incorporate more natural beauty into my regime, turning 25 has made me realise its time to get my act together and look after my hair, skin and nails properly. By properly I mean taking real care about the products Which is why I love the new L’Oreal botanicals fresh care range so much, they are free from silicones, parabens and colourants and the shampoo bottles are made from 100% recycled materials. Not only that but they smell amazing. What a dream.
This post is in collaboration with L’Oreal Botanicals Fresh Care but all thoughts and views are my own :)
